Repairing a tyre
- Find the puncture and remove the nail or screw with the puller.
- Push the spiral reamer into the hole and work it in and out a few times to clean and widen it.
- Thread a plug through the eye of the insertion needle, up to half its length.
- Push the needle in until two thirds of the plug are inside the tyre, then pull the needle out sharply: the plug stays in place.
- Cut off the part of the plug sticking out of the tread.
- Reinflate the tyre to the recommended pressure and check that it doesn't leak.
Why choose this tyre puncture repair kit
More and more cars leave the factory without a spare wheel, with just a compressor and a bottle of puncture sealant. The sealant gets you going, but it fills the tyre with liquid that the garage then has to clean out. With a plug, the hole is sealed cleanly from the outside and the inside of the tyre stays dry.
This puncture kit is made for people who'd rather sort things out themselves: no jack, no wheel nuts to undo on the hard shoulder, no waiting for the recovery truck. The T-handles give enough leverage to work on SUV and van tyres, and the 45# steel doesn't bend out of shape after the first repair.
The hard case has a very practical advantage: every piece stays in its place and you find the complete kit on the day you need it, even after months in the boot. Ideal for high-mileage drivers, holiday trips, the countryside and the mountains, motorhome owners and motorcyclists with tubeless tyres. Bear in mind that this is an emergency repair: have the tyre checked by a professional as soon as possible.
A puncture? Fix it yourself, wheel still on
A nail in the tread always comes at the wrong moment: on the motorway, in the evening, far from the nearest garage. The spare wheel has often disappeared and the sealant spray gums up the rim and the pressure sensor. With this tyre puncture repair kit, you plug the hole in a tubeless tyre with a rubber plug, without removing the wheel. The tools are 45# steel with T-handles, and the whole set fits in a 20.5 × 13.5 × 3.5 cm hard case that slips in anywhere in the boot.

The benefits at a glance
- No jack, no wheel to remove
Find the nail, pull it out and plug the hole from the outside, with the tyre on. - 45# steel tools
The spiral reamer and the insertion needle are 45# steel: they go through the rubber without bending, even on a hard tyre. - T-handles
The two T-handles fit your whole hand and let you push hard without slipping. - Rubber plugs, no liquid glue
The hole is sealed with the plugs. No tube of glue drying out or leaking in the car. - Nail puller and valve parts
The kit also includes a puller for nails and screws, plus valve caps and valve cores to replace damaged ones. - Hard case, every tool in its place
Each piece has its own slot: nothing rattles around under the boot floor.
