Why choose this dog car barrier

A dog that's free to come into the front is a constant distraction: it looks for its owner, slips between the seats, puts its paws on the gear stick or the handbrake. Even the calmest dog can get restless in the car when it hears unusual noises or sees other animals. A dog car barrier solves the problem at the source: the dog stays on the back seat and you keep your eyes on the road.

This model stands out by combining two materials. Many barriers are just netting and give way when the dog pushes; many dividers are solid fabric, and the dog, no longer able to see anyone, gets more agitated. Here, the padded lower panel absorbs the pushes and the mesh upper part keeps eye contact. The quick-release buckles let you put it in and take it out in a few seconds.

It's made for people who often take their dog along: to the vet, to the park, on holiday. It suits dogs of all sizes travelling in the back and, thanks to its adjustable straps, most cars.

The dog stays in the back, you drive in peace

All it takes is a sharp brake or a noise outside for the dog to try to squeeze between the two front seats: paws on the handbrake, nose on your shoulder, and you're driving with one eye on the road and the other behind you. This dog car barrier closes off exactly that gap. The lower part is padded and holds firm when the dog pushes, the upper part is a mesh window: it can still see you and stays calm. It attaches to the headrests and seats with quick-release buckles, no tools needed.

The benefits at a glance

  • Closes the gap between the front seats
At 80 × 45 cm, it covers the space between the driver's and passenger's seats, exactly where dogs try to get through.
  • The dog can see you
The upper part is mesh: the dog sees the driver and doesn't get restless from feeling shut in.
  • Padded lower panel
When the dog leans or nudges with its nose, it meets a soft, solid surface, not a net that gives way.
  • Quick-release buckles
It clips onto the front headrests and seats with buckles that close and open with a click.
  • Adjustable straps
Tighten the straps until the barrier hangs straight: that way it fits most cars.
  • Lightweight polyester
About 200 g: when you don't need it, unclip it, fold it and store it in the boot or the seat pocket.
