Fitting
- Wipe the original mirror with a dry cloth.
- Place the panoramic mirror over it, nicely centred.
- Hook the spring onto the top edge, then the one on the bottom edge.
- Move it slightly by hand to check it's held firmly.
- Sit in your driving position and adjust the angle until you can see the whole rear window and the sides.
Why choose this panoramic rear-view mirror
In town, everything happens at the sides: the motorbike filtering through the traffic, the bike on the left, the car changing lanes just as you were about to. The original mirror, flat and narrow, shows only a small rectangle behind you. A convex panoramic mirror changes your perspective: at a glance, you keep an eye on everything happening behind you and much of what's happening alongside.
It's also really handy with children in the back, whom you can see without turning round, and for parking in a tight space or reversing into the garage. The two springs fix it in a few seconds and release it just as quickly: you can move it to your second car or go back to the original mirror at any time.
Good to know: like any convex mirror, it makes vehicles look a little further away. Allow a day or two to get used to the distances; after that, it's hard to do without.
The whole rear window and the lanes alongside in one glance
The original rear-view mirror is small and flat: it frames the rear window and not much else, and the scooter coming up beside you stays in the blind spot until you turn your head. This panoramic rear-view mirror is a 30 cm wide convex mirror that clips over yours with two springs, in a few seconds and with no tools. Its curve widens the view to the sides and downwards: back seat, the whole rear window and part of the lanes alongside. It comes with a standard mirror or a blue anti-glare one for night driving.

The benefits at a glance
- 30 cm of convex mirror
It measures 300 × 75 mm and, thanks to its wide-angle curve, shows much more to the sides and below than the original mirror. - Fewer blind spots
Motorbikes, bikes and cars in the lanes alongside appear sooner in the mirror, without you having to turn your head. - Calmer parking and reversing
You see the rear window from pillar to pillar and judge better how much room you have behind. - Two springs, no tools
The springs hook onto the top and bottom edges of the original mirror. - Blue anti-glare version
The blue mirror tones down the headlights of the car behind, ideal if you often drive in the evening or on the motorway at night. - Adjusts just as before
It stays fixed on your mirror: you angle it with the same ball joint as usual.
