Why choose this car umbrella holder
In the rainy season, an umbrella in the car is a real headache: wet, there's nowhere to put it, and the water left on the mats and upholstery takes days to dry. The result: a damp smell, misted windows in the morning and stained fabric. A dedicated case solves it all in one move: close the umbrella, slide it in, and that's it.
This umbrella holder makes use of a space that's usually empty, the back of the front seat. It fixes with hook-and-loop to the headrest posts, so it suits most cars with adjustable headrests, and it comes off in seconds if needed. The waterproof faux leather (PU) holds the water in and wipes clean easily, and the adjustable bottom adapts it to both walking-stick and compact umbrellas.
Handy for parents on the school run, taxi and ride-hailing drivers and anyone who likes a tidy car. A small accessory that earns its keep all through autumn and winter.
Wet umbrella, dry seats
You get into the car in the rain and the umbrella ends up on the mat, on the passenger seat or between your legs: everything gets soaked. A few days later, the car smells damp and the windows mist up. This car umbrella holder in waterproof faux leather (PU) hooks onto the back of the seat with a hook-and-loop strap and holds the closed umbrella upright: the water stays in the case. At 58.5 cm, it takes a full-size umbrella, and it folds down to 29–33 cm for a compact one.
The benefits at a glance
- Waterproof, the water stays inside
The faux leather (PU) case doesn't let water through: the drips stay in the cover instead of soaking the seats and mats. - Full-size or compact umbrella
Opened out, it measures 58.5 cm for a walking-stick umbrella. - Fixes to the headrest
A hook-and-loop strap of about 31 cm goes round the headrest posts: no screws or adhesive, and it comes off in seconds. - Always within reach
Hung behind the front seat, the umbrella is right there for back-seat passengers when they get out. - Shaped for an umbrella
15.5 cm wide at the top, 10 cm at the tip: it follows the shape of a closed umbrella and doesn't take up legroom. - Thin and easy to clean
The smooth material is only about 1 mm thick.
