Fitting
  1. Choose the rear seat where the rear-facing car seat is fitted.
  2. Pass the straps round that seat's headrest.
  3. Tighten the straps until the mirror no longer moves.
  4. Angle the mirror towards the car seat.
  5. From the driver's seat, adjust the rear-view mirror until you can see your baby, then check the mirror stays firmly in place.
Why choose this baby car mirror

For the first months, and often well beyond, babies travel rear-facing, the safest position. The downside is that you can no longer see their face from the wheel. Turning round at the slightest noise is exactly what you shouldn't do while driving, and you don't always have a passenger to take a look. A mirror on the rear headrest solves this: the car seat appears in your rear-view mirror, and a quick glance is all it takes, just like checking the traffic behind you.

This back-seat mirror is shatterproof acrylic with an ABS frame, so there's no glass a few centimetres from your child, and it fits with adjustable straps without marking the upholstery. Choose the shape you like: the classic rectangle, the large model to see the whole seat, the compact round one for small headrests, the versions with ears that toddlers love, or the white one with LED and remote control for evening journeys.

It's a help for parents doing the nursery run on their own, for grandparents and for anyone heading off on holiday with a newborn. It also makes a useful new-baby gift. The mirror helps you keep an eye on your child, but it doesn't replace being attentive.

Keep an eye on baby without turning round

In a rear-facing seat, your baby is right behind you, but from the driver's seat you can't see them. Every cry, or a silence that goes on a bit too long, makes you want to turn round. This baby car mirror fixes to the back-seat headrest and brings the car seat into your rear-view mirror. The mirror is shatterproof acrylic, so there's no glass near your child, and the straps are adjustable. Choose from 9 styles, from 17 cm to 31 × 22 cm, including one with LED lighting and a remote control.

The benefits at a glance

  • One glance in the rear-view mirror
The mirror faces the car seat: from the wheel you can see whether your baby is asleep, playing or has dropped their dummy, just as you check the traffic behind you.
  • Shatterproof acrylic, no glass
Acrylic mirror surface and ABS frame: even if it takes a knock, nothing shatters near your child.
  • Adjustable headrest straps
The straps go round the rear headrest and tighten until the mirror no longer moves.
  • Double strap for a firmer hold
The rectangular double-strap model (19 × 13.5 cm) fixes at two points, handy on bumpy roads or with a wide headrest.
  • LED light with remote control
The white 29 × 19 cm rectangle has an LED you switch on remotely: in the evening or in a tunnel, your baby stays in view.
  • 9 shapes and sizes
Rectangular, oval, round, with ears or with a fabric frame: from the compact 17 cm to the largest 31 × 22 cm.
